What's the easiest way to line up massive ductwork pieces on a duct jack (Genie lift)?

Use two lifts for long runs if available. Strap the duct down flat to the lift forks so it cannot shift. Use an alignment punch (drift pin) through the corner bolt holes of the existing run to guide and marry the new section perfectly into place as you slowly jack it up.
