Using tape alone as mechanical connection
Tape alone is not the mechanical connection. The liner needs approved mechanical securement and sealing.
Stop if
- This flex was only taped. What mechanical connection do you want on the liner/collar?
Watch out
- Do not use tape as the only thing holding flex to the collar.
Check
- Expose the collar.
- Check whether clamp/screw/band is required.
- Secure liner mechanically as directed.
- Seal with approved method.
- Pull jacket back after liner is correct.
