TDC/Ductmate joints seal with gasket on one flange face, corners seated, and the duct run brought in level and aligned before cleats or fallback screws.
Gasket is on one flange face and the duct is close but not perfect at the corners. Do you want drift pins/C-clamps to line it up, standard cleats, or 5/16 self-tappers in the flange if cleats are not available?
Watch out
Do not put gasket on both sides. Do not use corners, bolts, drift pins, or C-clamps to drag a crooked duct run together. If cleats are missing, ask before using 5/16 self-tappers in the flange.
Check
Gasket on one flange face only?
Joining duct level and aligned?
Corners seated?
Flanges close enough for drift pins/C-clamps without forcing?
