What the word means. This is not a work instruction.
S-and-drive is a common rectangular duct joint. S-cleats usually slide over two opposite flat edges, and drive cleats lock the other two sides. It is simple, fast, and common on lower-pressure rectangular duct where allowed by the job.
The duct needs to be aligned and square before the drive goes on. A drive cleat should lock the joint, not force a bad joint into submission.
