How do you properly bend and install a slip and drive (S&D) connection?

1. The Slips (S-cleats) go on the flat, wider sides of the rectangular duct (typically top and bottom). 2. The Drives go on the short sides containing the pre-formed 1/2-inch drive cleat hooks (typically left and right). 3. Slide the S-cleats onto the raw metal edges of the first duct. Push the matching duct piece into the other side of the S-cleats. Slide the drive cleats down the side hooks, and bend the excess top/bottom tabs over tightly to lock the joint.
