Finish duct work has to respect the ceiling grid. A diffuser that fits the duct but fights the T-bar is still a problem.

Verify the tile size and grid direction.
Confirm diffuser orientation before cutting or dropping tile.
Check above-ceiling clearance for box, flex, damper handle, and insulation.
Do not rest unsupported weight on ceiling grid unless the detail allows it.
Keep tiles clean and replace damaged tiles per site direction.

Why it matters
