The scissor lift is beeping or alarming while I am in the air

Field Basics, Safety & Accessred

Treat lift alarms like a stop condition. If you can safely lower the platform, lower it and stop use. Notify your foreman/safety lead and do not keep using the lift until the issue is checked.

Ask foreman

The lift is alarming at [location]. I stopped and lowered safely if able. Who should check it before it goes back in use?

Do not

Do not ignore the alarm, bypass controls, keep driving around, or troubleshoot equipment you are not authorized to repair.

Why it matters

A lift alarm can mean slope, overload, pothole protection, battery/system fault, or another safety condition. Site equipment rules win.
