Treat lift alarms like a stop condition. If you can safely lower the platform, lower it and stop use. Notify your foreman/safety lead and do not keep using the lift until the issue is checked.

Stop moving the lift unless needed to get safe.
Lower safely if the controls allow and you are not creating a bigger hazard.
Keep hands/body inside the platform.
Step off only when safe.
Tell foreman/safety and hold/tag the lift per site rules.

Why it matters

A lift alarm can mean slope, overload, pothole protection, battery/system fault, or another safety condition. Site equipment rules win.
