Do not force a louver frame into a tight or crooked opening. Pull it, correct the opening or shim/support it square, then reinstall so the blades and linkage move freely.
['Louver frames are usually aluminum and can twist if they are forced into a rough opening. Once the frame racks, adjustable blades, linkage bars, or actuator rods can bind.', 'Check the opening diagonals, frame squareness, and blade movement. The recovery is to remove the louver, correct the tight masonry or framing points, shim the frame square per the submittal, then fasten without distorting the rails.']
