Stop. Get direction before you touch it.
Zinc fumes cause metal fume fever and long-term lung damage. Weld only in a well-ventilated area with local exhaust ventilation. When ventilation is insufficient, use supplied-air respiratory protection. Grind the galvanizing off the weld zone.
