Use Drift Pins and C-Clamps on TDC/Ductmate Alignment

Do you want drift pins and C-clamps here, or should I re-support the duct first?

I'm connecting TDC/Ductmate at [location]. The gasket is on one flange face and the run is [level/not level]. The joint is close but needs help holding alignment. Do you want drift pins at the corners and C-clamps on the flange while I start the corners/cleats, or should I re-support/re-square first?

Stop if

TDC/Ductmate alignment issue: the joint is not lining up clean. I do not want to force it with a drift pin or clamp until you verify whether the run needs to be re-supported or re-squared.

Watch out

Do not say “I'll just pin it” if the run is twisted. Do not reef on a C-clamp until the flange bends or the gasket crushes.
