Test Hole Location for Static Pressure
Static pressure test holes must be located correctly for accurate readings.
Stop if
- How far downstream of elbow should I drill? What hole size for Pitot tube?
Watch out
- Don't drill near fittings, dampers, or transitions. Don't use oversized holes. Don't leave open after testing.
Check
- At least 5-10 duct diameters downstream of any fitting?
- On straight section?
- Hole size correct for probe?
