Look for brace symbols, diagonal restraint notes, angle callouts, and detail references like S- near duct or equipment. If a drawing references a structural/seismic detail you do not have, stop and ask for the detail before installing or moving anything.
You do not need to design the brace. You need to recognize that it is engineered work and get the approved detail.
