Stop and check the simple operator items: battery charge, overload light, platform load, and obvious alarm/fault indicators. If it still cuts out with a normal load, hold/tag it for service.
The scissor lift cuts out around [height]. Battery looks charged and it is not overloaded, but the fault/overload keeps coming back. Do you want it tagged out and swapped?
Watch out
Do not overload the deck, keep cycling the controls, bypass the overload system, or ride a machine that drops, jerks, clicks hard, or loses power while raised.
Check
Lower safely if possible and clear the area.
Check the battery/fuel gauge and charger status.
Check the overload/fault indicator and the posted platform capacity.
Remove extra duct bundles, tools, boxes, or riders until the load is clearly within the rating.
If it cuts out, drops, clicks hard, faults, or overloads with a normal load, stop use and call foreman/safety/rental.
