Punchlist Area Walk
A punch walk checks the small finish items that cause rework: loose screws, labels, access, mastic misses, insulation tears, and dirty diffusers.
Stop if
- Can I walk this area with the punch checklist before we call it complete?
Watch out
- Do not call an area done just because duct is hung. Do not hide unfinished work above finished ceiling.
Check
- Joints, access doors, labels, supports, insulation patches, diffuser faces, ceiling damage, and leftover material.
