What the word means. This is not a work instruction.
Walk your own work before the GC, inspector, balancer, or owner does. Check crooked finish, missing sealant, loose hardware, blocked access, unlabeled dampers, damaged insulation, trash on duct, and anything ugly or unfinished.
Finish work is reputation work. The visible stuff gets judged harder, even when the hidden stuff took more skill.
