Missed seams on round/spiral fittings

Round and spiral fittings have seams and collars that are easy to miss. Check all the way around before calling it complete.

Stop if

• Do you want the spiral/round fitting seam sealed on this system?

Watch out

• Do not seal only the visible side of a round fitting.

Check

• Rotate your view or move around the fitting.
• Check lock seam, collar, coupling, takeoff, and clamp area.
• Seal the full circumference as required.
• Check the top/back side.
• Ask if the seam must be sealed on that system.
