Missed seams on round/spiral fittings
Round and spiral fittings have seams and collars that are easy to miss. Check all the way around before calling it complete.
Stop if
- Do you want the spiral/round fitting seam sealed on this system?
Watch out
- Do not seal only the visible side of a round fitting.
Check
- Rotate your view or move around the fitting.
- Check lock seam, collar, coupling, takeoff, and clamp area.
- Seal the full circumference as required.
- Check the top/back side.
- Ask if the seam must be sealed on that system.
