• Look at the top/backside of joints if accessible.
• Check collars, taps, corners, flanges, and seams.
• Confirm approved sealant/tape/mastic was used.
• Look for skipped spots, gaps, or dirty surfaces.
• Ask before sealing special/rated/grease conditions.
