Walk insulation like an inspector will: coverage, thickness, facing/vapor barrier continuity, seams/laps, compression at supports, access doors, labels, dampers, and damaged patches.

Do not cover access, ignore torn facing, or leave compressed/missing insulation because it is hard to see from the floor.

Confirm spec/material/thickness if available.

Look for compressed/missing insulation at supports and fittings.
Verify access doors, dampers, labels, and cleanouts remain reachable.
Photograph areas before cover/inspection.
