What the word means. This is not a work instruction.
A good hanger line follows the layout, hits the required elevation, keeps rods plumb, supports the duct properly, and does not block access or other trades. Hangers should be installed before the duct is forced into place.
Set the support system clean first. The duct should sit on good support, not become the tool that straightens bad support.
