Fusible Link Temperature and Replacement
Fusible links melt at specific temperature to release damper blades. Wrong temp or damage prevents operation.
Stop if
- What fusible link temperature does spec require? Avoid touching directly during install?
Watch out
- Don't touch with bare hands (oils affect melting point). Don't install damaged link. Don't guess temperature rating.

- Link intact with no cracks?
- Correct orientation?
