Duct Blocks Access to Refrigeration Valves or Service Points
Stop before closing the run if the installed duct removes usable access to valves, controls, service panels, or line-replacement paths. Access must allow the actual maintenance task, not merely leave the component visible.
Do not accept “you can still see it” as proof that the refrigeration component is serviceable.
Check
Identify the valve, panel, or service point and what movement or tool access it requires.
Check the refrigeration submittal or coordinated access zone if available.
Test whether the final duct, insulation, and ceiling condition leave a usable path.
Document the obstruction before the area is closed.

Say this to your foreman
The duct clears the refrigeration valve physically, but the handle and service connection cannot be reached once insulation is installed. Do you want this route re-coordinated before we close the joint?
