Diffuser Direction And Throw
Diffuser direction matters. A diffuser can fit the ceiling but still throw air the wrong way if it is rotated wrong.
Stop if
- Does this diffuser need to throw toward/away from this wall, or is the face orientation okay as installed?
Watch out
- Do not rotate diffusers randomly to make the screws line up. Do not assume every square diffuser is four-way.
Check
- RCP, diffuser schedule, airflow arrows, room layout, walls/windows, and whether grille face direction matches the plan.
