Do not block condensate drain, trap, pan access, or service space with duct or hangers.
Check
Locate the condensate drain connection on the unit or coil section using the unit label, submittal, or visible drain stub.
Check whether your duct, transition, hanger rod, trapeze, or brace crosses the drain path or blocks trap/service access.
Confirm the drain can pitch continuously in the intended direction without being forced around your duct or support.
Check whether a trap is required and whether there is enough vertical and horizontal space to install and service it per the approved detail.
Do not finalize duct connections or hanger locations that block the drain path until the clearance is confirmed.

Say this to your foreman
My duct/hanger at [location] is crossing the condensate drain path on [unit tag]. The drain needs to run toward [drain location/direction], and I think I have a conflict. Do you want me to reposition before I finalize?
