Closeout Photo Checklist

Use when hidden work needs photos before ceiling/walls/insulation cover it.

Foreman asks for closeout photos or hidden work is about to disappear.

Stop if

• Do these photos show enough location, access, joints, supports, labels, and open issues before this gets covered?

Watch out

• Do not treat a checklist as approval.
• Do not skip foreman/PM direction when scope, safety, cost, or inspection is affected.

Check

• Wide location photo
• Close-up of issue
• Label/tag/drawing reference
• Punch/list note

Steps

• Prove location, condition, and what gets hidden.
• Wide context photo.
• Close photos of joints/supports/access/labels/flex/damage.
• Tape/tag when size/location matters.
• Group by room/system.
• Send with a clear note.
