Boot to Diffuser Connection
Connection between duct boot and ceiling diffuser must be sealed and supported.
Stop if
- Should there be balancing damper? How should boot-to-diffuser connection be sealed?
Watch out
- Don't connect flex directly to diffuser without boot. Don't leave gaps. Don't skip balancing damper if shown on drawing.
Check
- Boot sealed to duct?
- Damper or balancing device?
- Diffuser seats properly without gaps?
