Balancing Port Location And Plugs
Test ports need to be placed where TAB can actually read pressure or airflow, then plugged and sealed after use.
Stop if
- Where does TAB want the test port, and what plug/label do we use after the reading?
Watch out
- Do not randomly drill test holes. Do not leave open holes. Do not cover ports before TAB is done.
Check
- TAB requested location, straight duct distance if required, access after ceiling, plug type, and insulation patch plan.
Steps
- TAB requested location, straight duct distance if required, access after ceiling, plug type, and insulation patch plan.
