Another trade ties cable or pipe to my duct hangers
Duct hangers are for the duct system, not another trade's cable tray. Document it and coordinate removal before your support system gets overloaded, rattles, or fails inspection.
Do not let added cable/pipe loads stay on your duct supports just because they are convenient.
Check
Photo the exact hanger/trapeze being used by another trade.
Check whether the added load is pulling rods, bending strut, compressing insulation, or contacting duct.
Check if seismic bracing, access, or inspection visibility is affected.
Identify the trade and location clearly for coordination.
Ask before removing or moving another trade's installed work.

Say this to your foreman
Another trade tied cable/pipe onto our duct trapeze at [location]. I checked for bending/contact and took photos. Do you want me to have them remove it through coordination, or do we need to document it for the GC?
