How do you line up multi-section linear slot diffusers so the joints look clean

A continuous slot diffuser run can work mechanically and still look terrible if the sections are jagged. On finished ceilings, that becomes a punch-list item fast.

The fix is to loosen the supports, use the manufacturer alignment pins/splice keys or approved joining method, align the extrusion faces and joints, then lock the plenums/supports without twisting the run. Coordinate with drywall/ceiling layout if the border line itself is crooked.
