If a spiral/round slip joint blows apart during a leak or pressure test, tape was not the connection. The joint needs proper insertion depth, alignment, fastening, and approved seal method.
Do not just add more foil tape. Check if the joint was barely engaged, wrong coupler, undersized/oversized, missing screws/fasteners, distorted out of round, or under the wrong pressure class. Rebuild it correctly and retest.
