Drive a minimum of 4 tek screws uniformly distributed around the perimeter of the round slip joint (spaced roughly every 90^\circ). Increase to 6 or 8 screws as the pipe diameter increases past 24 inches to stop the joint from sagging or pulling apart under high air pressure.
