Use when

Seismic brace, sway brace, equipment restraint, or structural-support inspection is coming.

First move: walk each brace by room/grid/system before the inspector arrives.

Walk it in this order

  1. List each brace/restraint location by room, grid, area, or system.
  2. Check brace direction, angle, clamps, anchors, hardware, and structural attachment visibility.
  3. Confirm tags/labels/detail references can be found and read.
  4. Look for corrosion, missing tags, blocked access, wrong attachment points, or covered brace/anchor details.
  5. Photo questionable items before cover or inspection.
