How to use this playbook

  1. Pick the checklist that matches the inspection phase, then walk by room/grid/system with photos.
  2. Pre-TAB: devices, dampers, flex, access, seal, VAV/equipment readiness.
  3. Pre-cover: hidden work, access, labels, seal, supports, other crew defects.
  4. Pre-seismic: brace visibility, anchors, tags, detail references, corrosion.
  5. Pre-fire-damper: access, labels, blade path, actuator, sleeve/angles, correction log.

Warnings

  • Do not do an inspection walk from memory only.
  • Do not let hidden-work or life-safety items close without a list.
