The duct construction class must match the system pressure classification on the mechanical drawing. Include the pressure class, gauge, seam type, and reinforcement schedule in every shop order. Verbal orders for duct construction are insufficient.
Do not hide, force, cover, or “make it work” if this affects safety, access, airflow, rated assemblies, supports, equipment, or inspection. Stop and verify the approved correction.
