Lay it out
- Mark the exact drop location.
- Check the plumb line to the terminal.
- Keep the opening clear of hangers and devices.
Set and support it
- Support the main if needed.
- Clamp the tap flush.
- Provide independent drop and terminal support.
Make the connection

Check the install

- Using a crooked drop to pull the tap.
- Skipping terminal support.
